POKER NIGHT!!!!

So yeah 2 days or maybe 3 not sure. I had a poker night. With some friends. And I lost. Quite badly. Me the self-proclaimed poker Professional losing? Yep. And I blame THE FACT I WAS SOBER. Yes people I played poker sober. And this does not at all improve my game.

But beside the fact I got my ass handed to me by a Noob at this game. It was a really fun non alcoholic Night. We Gamed, Played Poker. Had Late night McDonalds. And Stayed up talking. (With what probably is the most awesome person on Skype.) all night long.

But to all good things must come an end. And so I headed home. The twilight of sky outside(sounds deep eh?) was a beautiful sight. As LW City came closer. I felt more and more tired. A random encounter and a bus transfer later. And I was back home in Burgum (YAYYY!!!)

Had a small trip to the torture doctor ( I mean dentist) and after dinner I was out cold. Woke up about 19 hours later. Not knowing what day it was. Or what time. So grabbed a coke, something I was deprived of for almost a day. Felt that warm familiar feeling of the caffeine going to my brain.(I Hated it, Welcomed it.) Found out it was Thursday apparently.(and 2010 as well who knew? just 2 more years to go) So yeah. You’ve just been Filled in.

Halloween FAIL

Tried to do a halloween shoot today. A total failure it turned out to be. But one random picture I had Ian make of me did intrigue me. So a little Lightrooming and Photoshopping later I made this. nothing brilliant. But still a nice image. Going to do a real halloween shoot later this week. Gonna have to plan this one. Find better (no offence Ian) models, get some good props. And do the thing I'm supposed to be a little good at. Maybe I should watch some oldskool horror flicks first. Get myself in the mood. Dawn of the Dead FTW!

Hey there boys and girls remember that old medium known as radio? Well I do. Ever since I was a little potential sociopath playing grand theft auto. Radio has intrigued me. But the thought of becoming a radio host, never crossed my mind.

Years later I'm playing fallout 3. And I fall in love with it. But more relevant to this post, I fell in love with Galaxy News Radio. And being the geek that I am. I started saying radioish things while using #nowplaying on Twitter. This got picked up by like minded people. And #RadioTweet was born.

But it wasn’t enough. So we made a new Twitter Account. And named it @TwusicRadio. A text based radio station. With zero actual broadcasting. Basically we where/are sending music recommendations with radio commentary. But it still wasn’t enough me and my mates Rutger en Jeroen want more. And so we started to make plans for a real broadcast.

SIDE NOTE: Luckly our school has its own radio studio.

So we got together one weird Saturday. And made a concept. Nothing is certain yet but… I can say we are getting close to an actual broadcast. And I can also say: We won’t call our show TwusicRadio. So I hope you can find me on the airwaves soon.

Start Of Something New

So I've decided to start a new blog. Something that well focusses more on me personally. And not the weird self-proclamed poetry I write.(http://frisiansummer.blogspot.com/)

This Blog will feature random things I encounter. It will be more foccused on my photography and other projects. And I'm thinking of putting reviews on it.

It's language will be mainly Englisch. (And some Frisian' just to irritate people)
